What Is Dignity?

List of 5 People With Dignity:
1. David Greene (from School Ties)
2. Rosa Parks
3. Dr. Martin
4. Harriet Tubman
5. President Lincoln

As for whether dignity comes from within or from the approval of others, I believe it comes from within and is only proved with the approval of others. A person must first be very dignified in order to have dignity. Being dignified comes from oneself and that's why I believe dignity truly comes from within. However, though dignity does come from within, what's having dignity without others recognizing it? Since without recognition, a person is still, unfortunately, not known to have dignity. So, I think dignity definitely also comes from the approval of others. And when a person has the approval of others, that person often also tries to improve even more and remind him or herself that he or she must always act with dignity and treat everyone with dignity. So I believe dignity comes from both withing and also from the approval of others.

Happiness is...

Happiness is that warm feeling you get when something good happens to you, or just to anyone and you feel happy for them. Happiness is a warm cup of chocolate on a cold, winter morning. Happiness is reading a book in bed before you go to sleep. Happiness is accomplishing something, anything. Happiness is chatting with your friends and doing your nails together and gossiping. Happiness is helping someone who needs it, and feeling proud of yourself afterwards. Happiness is when you crush talks to you and your stomach does that little flip thing. Happiness is looking at the beautiful scene around you and realizing just how beautiful Earth is. Happiness is looking at others' lives and realizing just how lucky you are to have a family. Happiness is all the little things like a sunny day or a warm smile from a stranger or a simple thanks. Happiness is all those great things like getting into your dream college or ending up as first place after hard work. Happiness is all around you, and they're the things that makes up for the many, many downs in our lives.

What is a Teacher?

Teachers are those that try to teach us ideas of their own information about the subject they're teaching us. Teachers really do care about how we're learning things and if we're learning it or not. Some really good teachers can be strict about important things and really, really care about manners and attitude. I think best teachers shouldn't care that much about how smart the student is, but he/she should care more about how willing to learn the student is, and also how dedicated the student is. Good teachers also really do care about their student and their learning progress. I've had some even better teacher who also care about my life and what's going on. Some really good teachers also care about your future and gives you good advice about what you should really work on in order to be successful. Teachers should also be really patient and that may be one reason why I should never ever be a teacher. I have zero patience. A lot of students take a longer time to learn new things since everyone's learning speed is different, so a teacher's patience is really important. A teacher should also be forgiving, because students are highly likely to upset the teacher some way or the other many times while the teacher is teaching. So it would be easier both the teachers and the students if the teacher is forgiving and understanding. However, the teacher should also tell the student or warn the student about their mistakes, not just tolerate them.
